Nearly all students in the computer engineering program engage in collaborative research with faculty through internships or independent study. These provide students access to state-of-the-art facilities in computer engineering and computer vision such as those of theLaboratory for Engineering Man/Machine Systems. Ability to identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences. Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems. The undergraduate curriculum includes English and liberal arts, along with appropriate mathematics and sciences.
